Small Business Gift Guide

We all stress out about finding the perfect gift for the people in our lives. Now I'm not saying that I have all the answers to this question, but I do have a few small businesses in mind that have the best stuff to create thoughtful gifts. Whether you're shopping for a sister, mom, grandma, aunt - whatever, here is my short and sweet list of cute finds to gift this season!

Dirt Road Candle Co.

If you’re like me you have about eight different candles burning on a continuous rotation. I’m not kidding, I have one for every time of day. That is why I LOVE this small business I found on Instagram! Dirt Road Candle Co. makes soy wax candles that have the most unique names and scents. I highly recommend this product for the candle lover in your life!

Doe a Deer

Stop me before I spend all of my money here! Doe a Deer designs the cutest flour sack towels and I just can’t get enough of them. Check out their website to browse the seasonal designs or use the “stocklists” tab to find them in a store near you. These towels are difficult to give away because I love all of them.

The Knotty Nail

So I have never actually been to The Knotty Nail, but I have always kept them in mind just in case I needed an activity for a group or cute craft to gift. No it’s not a nail salon, The Knotty Nail hosts string art workshops and sells adorable string art kits and signs. I will hopefully make it there someday!

No Roots Boots

When in doubt, just buy the shoes. Okay, so this recommendation might be a little more of a gift from you - to you, you know what I’m saying? I ordered my favorite pair of boots (and overall shoe) last fall and Paige was so amazing to work with. Although I ordered off her website, I would love to catch her at an event and shop in her adorable airstream trailer. She also has lots of accessories and her instagram is something you should be following.

Kelly Moore Bag

I get so many compliments on my camera backpack, so I decided to share where I found it! This is definitely a pricier option, but these bags are amazing for a photographer, mom, traveler -  anyone really. I have the Woodstock 2.0 backpack which I use as my camera bag and sometimes in place of a purse if I need to carry my laptop with me. These bags and accessories make awesome gifts!
